We stayed here on our last night in Colorado. We mainly pay extra to stay at the Ritz Carlton because we enjoy the attention to detail and customer service. We would be distraught if we paid what we paid to stay here and did not have the attention to detail and customer service. When we arrived in our vehicle, we had two charming young gentlemen who were courteous and eager to help. It’s a shame I can’t remember their names, but they were working Friday, September 13, 2024. It’s always nice when they make sure that they pronounce your name correctly and forward it to customer service or concierge. We were greeted by our last name, which was fantastic. We paid a little extra for the club lounge, and our room was not ready, so we were given a temporary key to go up and enjoy the lounge until our room was ready. Once again, we forgot the lady's name in the club lounge, but she was fantastic and very eager to make sure we were comfortable and had everything we needed. The breakfast in the lounge the following morning was also delicious, and the lounge concierge was fantastic. We would not hesitate to stay here again. Thank you.

The rooms are very nice, but nothing spectacular. I must say, I was a little underwhelmed with the rooms in comparison to other places I've stayed. I wasn't "wowed" by anything that was included.Despite that, the staff was spectacular. Everyone was very inviting and helpful. Even the housekeeping service made every effort to make pleasant small talk and inquire about your day (it honestly seemed genuine and not forced). The food was delightful. I was in for a business meeting and I can honestly say it was some of THE BEST hotel food I've ever had. There is also great artwork and a ton of tasty restaurants in walking distance. Some warnings-Even you're looking for some exercise, don't use the stairs at the end of the hall. You WILL get locked out of all the floors and be forced to go outside prior to coming back in. I suspect this is for security purposes. The stairwell is fairly pleasant and carpeted, until you reach the end, then WATCH OUT not sure what was behind the tattered vent that was half my size. You need the appropriate card for the floor you are accessing. This would seem like it is very secure and easy to navigate, however, when you are there for a conference and there are 7 people in the elevator, all with rooms on a different floor, EVERYONE must scan their card to access their individual floor. This resulted in people on the lower floors frequently having to wait for the elevator to go up then go back down to get to their floor because they did not scan their card in time. You have been warned.

We spent the past weekend at The Ritz-Carlton in downtown Denver to attend the Foo Fighters concert. The Ritz as usual met all expectations. No complaints. However, we were EXTREMELY impressed with two of the Bell men who helped us upon arrival and departure. Jason and Emilio were very professional and courteous every time we interacted with them. They were friendly and gave us suggestions to eat and get around the area. We will definitely look forward to seeing them again next time we visit. Thanks, guys!!

We stayed here this past weekend for our wedding. Peyton was an absolute sweetheart, and made sure we had the best experience. They upgraded our suite for us so my bridesmaids had plenty of room to get ready, and also provided breakfast the morning of the wedding. The room and hotel was super clean, and everyone greeted us when we arrived. They even gave us custom robes to remember our stay. We can’t thank them enough for everything they did. What great customer service!

My room at the Ritz Carlton was perfect. I arrived and was greeted by Tony who assisted me with checking in. My room was spacious. I loved the bed - so comfortable. I ordered room service for dinner and breakfast and everything that I ordered tasted great. If you are in Denver you should stay.

Upon entering, Ashley greeted us warmly and was fantastic, setting the stage for the rest of the stay. Her professionalism is genuine, sincere, and greatly welcomed after a long journey. I remember the Renaissance used to be that way 10 years ago, however the Renaissance has since downgraded in my opinion.Julie in the Club Level made us feel at home as well, and showed us around probably the best selection of impressive hors d'oeuvres I've ever witnessed at any hotel in an elegant and comfortable lounge environment. Delicious, truly, with advanced cocktails per-request.The entire hotel is like as if it had a force-field from the turbulence of the area outside, like a Xanadu frozen peacefully in a pocket-dimension of tranquility.Honestly, every care is given and all who stay are warmly welcome. The price is worth the stay.

In town for baseball game so we reserved specifically for its proximity to Coors Field. Was upgraded to an executive suite that was stunning and the size of a small house. Highly recommend the restaurant ELWAYS downstairs, amazing steaks. Will book again!

I recently had the pleasure of staying at The Ritz-Carlton, Denver, and I cannot say enough about the exceptional experience my family and I had. From the moment we arrived, the level of service we received was truly top-notch, and the attention to detail made our stay incredibly memorable.A special shoutout goes to Tamila Grabovskaya, the Guest Services Manager, who went above and beyond to ensure our stay was nothing short of perfect. Tamila was incredibly responsive to our requests and added personal touches that really made us feel valued as guests. Her commitment to excellence is a true asset to the Ritz-Carlton brand. The room was beautifully appointed and extremely comfortable, making it a relaxing retreat during our stay. My only minor suggestion would be to add more trash cans in the room, as having just one made it a bit challenging to keep things tidy.We also had the pleasure of enjoying the Club Lounge, where the service was excellent. The staff were attentive, and the ambiance was lovely, making it a great place to relax. While the food offerings were delicious, a few additional options would have made the experience even better.I also had the opportunity to utilize the gym, which was spacious and well-equipped—perfect for keeping up with my fitness routine. My only recommendation would be to consider upgrading the Peloton bikes to the Peloton Bike+ for an even better experience. We dined at Elway’s for breakfast, where the food was delicious—especially the Chicken Fried Steak Burrito! However, the service was a bit slow, which slightly impacted the overall dining experience. That said, the quality of the food more than made up for it, and we left very satisfied.Overall, our stay at The Ritz-Carlton, Denver, was outstanding, and we are already looking forward to our next visit. I highly recommend this hotel to anyone looking for luxury, comfort, and exceptional service in the heart of Denver.

The room was nice, I had to request a refrigerator and microwave be added to my room. The attached restaurant was good, over priced do to the location. I will return to the restaurant, maybe not the hotel. The front desk respects your clothes, if you're dressed to have fun the front desk is definitely different. The front desk should be the first face of the business and make me and my party welcome and they should do better for the future. It's a nice down town location and good luck parking.

The bed was not comfortable at all. Worse Ritz bed I have stayed in. The AC did not work? Never got that cold, and would seem to stop if there was no movement at night. My key worked on the elevator but not my door 3x before they fixed the door- service was good there. Not the best room service selection either. Why is it “all day food” if it stops at 10pm. All day, at the Ritz Dallas, was 24 hours.Ritz Chicago had the best bedRitz Dallas Los Colinas had the best food.

My husband and I checked into the hotel at 10:30 am and were promptly told that we had either an accessible room or a room with two double beds available. We were traveling without kids and booked a king bed. I used to work in a hospital and prefer to not have accessible rooms as they remind me of hospital bathrooms. We said that we were fine waiting until check in when a regular king bed room would be available. Ritz told us sorry, you get accessible or double bed even at check in. That is not what we booked and they offered points to make right for us. For the price and notoriety of being a ritz, very disappointed. Do not stay here people. We ended up moving to the four seasons around the corner. Same price, better rooms and customer service. The “manager” should be fired at this Ritz location. Terrible customer service and terrible quality for this level of hotel.

The front desk, concierge and hostess staff were truly lovely. Beyond that the hotel’s condition is significantly deteriorating. Furnishings damaged, counter tops chipped, canvas room art scratched, carpet dingy, wallpaper worn and damaged, elevator had tape on ceiling to hold wall covering on, blinking lights, gurgling toilet. Beyond being dated it was truly damaged especially in places you would not expect like the spa lobby where the tables were severely damaged and worn. The ice machine was broken but when I ordered ice to the room it took over an hour so we had to leave for dinner before ever enjoying a cool drink in the room. So next I ordered clean bath towels before our workout thinking if it took an hour there would be sufficient time and yet still they never arrived even after calling the desk and using the bonvoy chat. This place definitely does not give “Ritz Carlton” or any luxury brand vibes and really for that matter was deceptive if it was called something else or if the pictures aligned with the website I would have spent $50 more a night and stayed at the Four Season Denver which looked truly gorgeous. In fact it’s sad for the sweet staff bc they are truly left a fish out of water to correct this off brand experience.

We booked the Ritz Carlton Suite. Upon arrival, my wife had to clean the surface countertop in the bathroom as it was not thoroughly cleaned, We also found a random AA Duracell battery in the living room. My wife wanted to take a bath last night before bed and the drain plug would not hold the water in the tub, I messaged front desk though the Marriott app and told them that we would need it fixed in the morning as we were heading to bed. Also, the bath salt was empty next to the tub and we never used it so It was not replaced prior to us checking in.I just wanted to provide you with my feedback as we paid over $1700 a night for this room and we should not experience issues like this.Look forward to your response.

The Ritz-Carlton Denver is excellent in all aspects, from check-in to checkout. Millie was kind and gracious in checking me into the hotel. She asked me to check-in at 1200, four hours early. The blonde woman serving the strawberry mocktails on the evening of 06 June was really nice and pleasant to me.The hotel's location can't be beat. It's a quick walk to all the downtown attractions and hundreds of restaurants. The rooms are outstanding. I didn't want to leave my room because it was so comfortable and inviting. A lot comes with the room, to include top-quality espresso, multiple bottles of water, and luxurious hygiene products. The shower was probably the best hotel shower I've experienced in years of traveling across the world and staying at numerous hotels.I'd definitely stay here again. I highly recommend this hotel. It's worth the money/points.

Service excellent! Location, good. Rooms terrible… they are in desperate need of maintenance renovation and cleanliness. We had towels and trash left in our room from the previous guests. The treadmills had no Internet connectivity. And don’t even get me started on the touchup paint and how filthy the doors are. I was embarrassed to take my wife here for our 10 year anniversary!! Literally go anywhere else but here. Try the autograph collection instead.

Just had the most amazing spa day! The place was so serene and spotless, and I felt so relaxed. I even tried to buy their sold-out weighted fawn blanket for my home - I'll have to keep an eye out for it! They had a steam room, whirlpool, and a cozy relaxation room, plus some light snacks and drinks. The staff were super friendly and professional, and booking online was a breeze. The esthetician, I think her name is Bek, was absolutely fantastic! I highly recommend the age-defying facial - the products were top-notch. Thanks for an incredibly relaxing day!

Not the same Denver Ritz-Carlton that used to ‘shine’ before the pandemic. As a long-time guest of this hotel, this stay, by far, was mediocre at its absolute best. We booked a stay months ago, for a 40th birthday weekend. The first weekend we spent away from our little ones, ever. Our initial check-in went smoothly, and we were very pleased with the renovated room we were assigned. Fast forward to the second day when we decided we would like to extend our stay.A few days prior to this stay, I elected to book some spa treatments for the two of us, as we are rarely able to spend time relaxing. When I called, we were told the men’s side of the spa was being renovated, as had the entirety of the hotel for the past four years, and he would be unable to utilize any amenities. I then contacted the hotel to see if we might be able to extend our checkout time, as the services were scheduled for 2:00 & 3:00 respectively and we had an event to attend later that evening. The person I spoke with stated they had contacted the hotel and front desk would be in touch to assist. At 10:00am, I was contacted by a person with the spa department who told me ‘my husband could use one of the stalls in the conference room restrooms to change and get ready for the event that evening’, and just to note ‘it was a public facility’ with no shower or amenities other than a stall. I was a bit taken back by that suggestion, and the fact she was clearly having a conversation with someone else, while on the phone with me.Once I hung up with her, I called the hotel again, and finally spoke with a wonderful person who helped ensure we would have our room, with a shower, available following our services. After spending the day in town, and with the upcoming event that evening, we decided we would potentially like to extend our stay. Following our services with the spa, including the worst facial I have had in my life, a massage that has left bruises on my back for the past week, and an added gratuity of 22% before we even had a chance to mention the underwhelming experience, we headed to the front desk to inquire about extending our stay, and the room we were in.I spoke with a gentleman at the front desk briefly, who told me that because I had booked through the Marriot website, he was unable to assist me with extending the reservation. (?) When I asked him if the room was available for the evening, he said it was, but that he couldn’t guarantee it would be while I went through the online booking system to try and secure the room for a second night. (Again,..?) First, I’m standing right in front of you asking you to do your job, and you can’t help me?!? Should this be the customer service one should expect from the Ritz-Carlton Denver?I went on to their website immediately and began frantically trying to book while watching other patrons check in. Initially it showed availability for the same room, however within two minutes of trying to book, and attempting to navigate the website, the room was assigned to another guest. Infuriated, I jumped back in line to see if we could potentially transfer rooms for the evening and continue extending our stay.In 12+ years of staying at the Ritz-Carlton Denver, for birthday’s, celebrations, sporting events and concerts, this was far and away the worst experience and service I personally have EVER experienced with this establishment. The level of guest service, offering of their Club Level amenities and overall guest relations (excluding the valet, who are always a pleasure to work with) leaves much to be desired. After 33 stays in these 12+ years, this will be our last at this time. Please consider addressing these issues and, may I suggest some much needed training on customer service and etiquette for the entirety of your staff.

We had a fantastic experience at the Ritz-Carlton on our recent honeymoon. The staff were super welcoming and friendly, and they went above and beyond to make our stay amazing. They provided us with a complimentary bottle of champagne and a piece of cake, which was a lovely touch. Nick from room service was especially helpful and friendly, and he made the room service experience top-notch.In addition to the great service, the hotel itself was beautiful and luxurious. Our room was spacious and well-appointed, and the bed was incredibly comfortable. We also enjoyed the hotel's fitness center.Overall, we had a wonderful honeymoon at the Ritz-Carlton. The staff, the accommodations, and the amenities were all first-rate. We would highly recommend this hotel to anyone looking for a luxurious and relaxing getaway.

I got married at the Ritz Carlton and here is my honest review for my overall experience.Kennedy Eliland was my wedding coordinator and she was such a sweet heart. I appreciated her help throughout the process. My only critic is that some of my emails required follow ups due to no response and the day of my wedding she was actually hard to track down. She also left the event early which I didn’t know was going to be the case but overall I enjoyed working with her. Here are the things that I was upset with and reason for not leaving a 5 star review.- We payed $168 per guest and this included an upgraded liquor package which allowed our guest to drink spirits outside of just beer and wine. A few of my guest requested a celebration shot and the bartender denied that to my guest despite the fact that we paid for it. Mind you, none of my guest were even intoxicated. Additionally, the bar tender was extremely rude so this was super frustrating. I had to find out from my guest how awful his attitude was which is not the kind of service I expected for an establishment of this caliber.-We were gifted special toast glasses from my mother in law on the day of our wedding for our first official toast as a couple. While the banquets team was serving our dinner plates, they knocked over the glasses which spilt champagne all over my husband and broke one of the glasses. They apologized but this was upsetting. My husband was covered in champagne and there was glass shattered on our table that never even got picked up so that was upsetting.- Since we were denied shots as previously mentioned, my husband and I requested a bottle of patron be sent to our room that evening when everything was wrapped up. We also did this to be in compliance with the hotels policy of not brining in any liquor. They charged us $600 for a bottle of Patron Silver. This retails anywhere from $40-50 so the up charge is insane.- We got a final bill nearly 9 weeks after our wedding date saying we owed $900+. When I asked for an explanation, Kennedy my event coordinator had no clue what the charges out side of overnight parking were related to so she said she would follow up with me. She got back to me two weeks later, and said this was the final cost for the overnight parking (which I understood) and the 1 bottle of patron that I ordered. What’s odd is that after asking for clarification on the cost, the second bill she sent me was lower and closer to $600. When I asked for clarification again I never received a response. Instead they charged my card without any notice or explanation which really upset me.- They nickel and dime you for everything here. Fees on top of fees. I knew what I was signing up for but one fee that really bothered me was a $200 cake cutting fee. This was an issue because we were already paying a 27% service fee on top of an 8% tax fee. When I asked about the 27% service fee, they explained this went to the servers and banquet team. So I didn’t understand why I was charged even more for them to slice a sheet cake.- We had a faux cake that magically disappeared along with some other items that were stored at the hotel after the wedding. The hotel tried to say the decorator took it but when reaching out to her that was not the case.We stayed in the Ritz Carlton suite which was beautiful and very clean. The food for our wedding was delicious however we did elect for something outside of the banquet menu because I didn’t like there options. We received complimentary massages as part of our wedding package which we appreciated but the massages were mediocre at best.I wasn’t really impressed.Overall the hotel was very nice but definitely not worth it. We paid nearly 40k to the venue alone. This did not include our outside vendor cost. If I could go back and do things again I wouldn’t get married here. But the hotel would be a great for an overnight stay. I wouldn’t recommend an event here.
